LAUREL, Miss. (AP) - Wildfowl carver Roger McLeod will discuss carving duck decoys and other wildfowl art in a workshop Thursday at the Lauren Rogers Museum or Art.

The program is planned for noon as part of the Laurel museum’s Art Talk program, WDAM-TV reports (http://bit.ly/1aI0e1s ).

McLeod has been a wildlife carver since 1974 and is a former president of the Pioneer Wood Carvers and Louisiana Wildfowl Carvers and Collectors Guild. He has served as a judge in numerous competitions.

The program is free and open to the public.
