OKLAHOMA CITY (AP) - Firefighters have contained a grass fire in southwest Oklahoma that threatened a mobile home park.

Battalion Chief Brian Stanaland tells The Oklahoman that the fire was contained. The only structure reportedly damaged was an abandoned mobile home.

Firefighters were called to the scene about 1:40 p.m. Oklahoma City fire officials did not immediately return a call from the AP for comment.

KWTV reports that another fire in Norman has also been contained. An abandoned house was destroyed in the grass fire. No one was injured.

Several central Oklahoma counties battled grass fires over the weekend.

A county burn ban was declared Monday in Stephens County.
