Sparked by the CNN documentary “Blackfish,” the boycott against SeaWorld has spread to Busch Gardens, its sister-park in Tampa, Fla.

Pat Benatar and the Beach Boys have canceled their upcoming shows in the Bands, Brew & BBQ concert series due to the controversial captivity of killer whales at SeaWorld, a spokesman said Thursday, according to the Associated Press.

“Blackfish” highlights the dark side of keeping predators in captivity and documents the deaths of several orca trainers.

Nine performers so far have backed out of performing at SeaWorld Orlando next month, including Trace Adkins, Martina McBride, Trisha Yearwood, Heart, 38 Special and Barenaked Ladies.
