MINNEAPOLIS (AP) - The Minnesota Twins agreed to one-year contracts with their three players arbitration: third baseman Trevor Plouffe, left-handed reliever Brian Duensing and right-hander reliever Anthony Swarzak.

Plouffe agreed to a $2.35 million deal, Duensing accepted $2 million and Swarzak got $935,000 under Friday’s agreements.

Plouffe batted .254 last season with 14 home runs, down from 24 the year before, and 52 RBIs in 477 at-bats. He had 13 errors in his second year as an everyday player. Selected as a shortstop in the first round of the 2004 amateur draft, Plouffe has also been used in right field and at second base.

Duensing had a 3.78 ERA in 61 innings, and Swarzak had a 2.91 ERA in 96 innings.
