MANCHESTER, Conn. (AP) - Authorities say the death of a woman whose body was found after a fire in a Manchester apartment building has been ruled a homicide.

Manchester Police say 56-year-old Sarah Jaqueline Kelloway was found dead in the bedroom of a third-floor unit in the building on Park Street shortly after 5 a.m. Saturday. The Office of the Chief Medical Examiner ruled that Kelloway’s death was a homicide after performing an autopsy.

Her death is being investigated by the Manchester Police Department and the state police Western District Major Crime Squad. Anyone with information is asked to contact 860-645-5510.

The cause of the fire is also under investigation.
