CONCORD, N.H. (AP) - The U.S. Attorney’s office says a 21-year-old New Hampshire woman has pleaded guilty to one count of sexual exploitation of children following the discovery of digital images of her and a minor child.

The investigation started last year when Manchester police received information from the United States Air Force that Erin Upham was communicating with a member of the armed services stationed in Okinawa, Japan.

Police said they had information that the communication was of a sexual nature and involved a minor child. Prosecutors said a federal search warrant of her laptop and cellphones showed images of her and the child engaged in sexually explicit conduct.

Upham is scheduled to be sentenced on April 29.
