ABERDEEN, S.D. (AP) - Aberdeen police have arrested a man after a shooting that wounded a woman.

Authorities told the American News (http://bit.ly/1eRG0qw ) that the woman was hospitalized after the incident Saturday morning with injuries that were not life-threatening.

Police did not immediately identify the woman or the man who allegedly shot her. Prosecutor Chris White said the man is to appear in court on Monday.

The shooting happened outdoors in the area of South Main Street about 2 a.m. Saturday. Police Capt. Dave McNeil said authorities are studying surveillance videos from businesses in the area.
