NEW YORK (AP) - Deceived cruised to an 8¼-length victory Friday in the $55,860 allowance feature for New York-bred 3-year-olds at Aqueduct.

The colt trained by Leah Gyarmati took charge turning for home and pulled clear for his second win in six starts. Rajiv Maragh was aboard for the mile in 1:39.53 on the fast track.

Deceived paid $5.30, $2.90 and $2.10 as the 8-5 favorite. Mental Iceberg was second, returning $3.60 and $2.30. Storm, the pacesetter, held third to pay $2.30.
