- Associated Press - Friday, July 11, 2014

CUMBERLAND, R.I. (AP) - A 14-year boy reported missing on Tuesday has been found dead in Cumberland.

Police Sgt. Jimmy Batista tells the Woonsocket Call (http://bit.ly/1q3ioIf ) searchers found the body of Mathew Rockefeller Thursday morning in the woods off New Clark Road. He says the death does not appear to be suspicious. He says a cause of death won't be released until an autopsy is completed.

Police, emergency personnel, family and friends had been searching for Rockefeller since he was reported missing from his Cumberland home on Tuesday morning.

Batista says local school officials are making arrangements to have counselors available for Rockefeller's classmates at North Cumberland Middle School.
