Federal agents found and arrested an illegal immigrant, Oscar Romero Martin-Zacarias, at a home in Brownsville, Texas, cuffing him on weapons charges after they discovered he was in possession of a gun.

The handgun had the serial number filed off, agents said, Breitbart reported.

Three other illegals were arrested at the home, too, during a raid conducted by Homeland Security Investigations and the U.S. Border Patrol. Mr. Romero, who's from Guatemala, was formally charged by U.S. Magistrate Judge Ignacio Torteya of illegal possession of a firearm and ordered to be held without bond.

Court documents indicated Mr. Romero actually told agents he had a gun inside a safe that was at the house, Breitbart reported. Agents found the Hi-Point .40 caliber handgun and saw that the serial number was filed off. When asked, Mr. Romeria said he bought the weapon for $150.
