AUSTIN, Texas (AP) - Texas football officials say two players who had received a meal from an agent will be eligible to play when the season starts.

A statement issued by the school says Texas reported the meal to the NCAA. According to Texas, the situation was resolved and the players will not be required to miss practice or any games.

Texas opens the season Aug. 30 against at home against North Texas.

The statement did not identify the players involved.
