Oregon police say a rambunctious 3-year-old climbed into his family's Jeep, put it in neutral and crashed it into a neighbor's house before running home to watch cartoons.
Myrtle Creek investigators said the toddler, wearing only a diaper, got into the Jeep that was parked in the family's driveway and knocked it out of gear. Witnesses reported seeing the Jeep traveling down the street, through an intersection, over a curb and through a yard into a house, a local Fox affiliate reported.
The boy's relative, 22-year-old Brennan Pennington, who was supposed to be watching over the child, was reportedly sleeping during the entire incident.
The child got out of the Jeep and ran home, plopping himself in front of the television, the station reported.
Police said the boy was watching cartoons when they arrived, "as if nothing had ever happened."
Nobody was injured during the incident.
The family reportedly made a "civil compromise" with the neighbor regarding damage to their house, and Mr. Pennington was cited for failing to supervise a child, the station reported.
