Pro-Palestinian activists blocked the entrance to a Boeing office in Washington state Monday morning, accusing the company of profiting from Israel’s offensive in Gaza.

A spokesperson for Seattle Jewish Voice for Peace (JVP) said some 50 Jewish and Palestinian activists took part in the protest at the Tukwila offices for Boeing Defense, Space and Security, which is responsible for weapons manufacturing, a local NBC affiliate reported.

According to a JVP release, the protest was to “stand against Israel’s massacre of the Palestinians in Gaza and demand accountability from the corporations that are profiting off this war on civilians,” a local CBS affiliate reported.

A handful of activists blocked the entrance to the Boeing offices, located just 10 miles south from Seattle. Another 40 or so activists reportedly conducted a “die-in” at a nearby intersection by lying in a crosswalk — representing the Palestinians killed in Israel’s latest offensive in Gaza.

JVP has accused Boeing’s defense arm of being a major supplier of weapons to the Israel Defense Forces.
