WARNER ROBINS, Ga. (AP) - Brig. Gen. (select) Walter Lindsley has been named the new commander of the Warner Robins Air Logistics Complex.

The Telegraph of Macon reported Thursday (http://bit.ly/1j1RKMR ) that Lindsley would take over for Brig. Gen. Cedric George.

George was the first commander of the Warner Robins Air Logistics Complex, which was created two years ago and provides depot maintenance, engineering support and software development to major weapons system.

Lindsley is currently director of staff at Air Force Materiel Command headquarters.

George will be taking a position at Air Force headquarters as director of system integration in the office of the Deputy Chief of Staff for Logistics, Installations and Mission Support.

Warner Robins Air Logistics Complex has about 7,000 employees.
