HAGUE, N.Y. (AP) - Police divers have recovered the body of a 59-year-old Albany County man from 74 feet of water on Lake George.

Divers from the Warren and Saratoga County sheriff’s offices found the body of William Scott of Westerlo Friday afternoon after state police sonar detected an object in the area.

Scott has been missing since Tuesday morning when the 17-foot boat he was fishing on overturned. His companions, 70-year-old Thomas Greene of Derby, Connecticut, and 75-year-old George Boss of West Kingston, Rhode Island, were able to cling to the boat until help arrived. Boss is the boat’s owner.

The boat capsized east of Hague Beach when fishing downriggers snagged, causing the boat to stop suddenly and take on water.
