ANALYSIS/OPINION:

I guess if the name “Redskins” is offensive (even though the Supreme Court said years ago it was not), then surely it is also offensive to name an entire state “red people” (“Redskins trademark canceled by U.S. Patent and Trademark Office,” Web, June 18). Oklahoma means “red people” in Choctaw. But that is probably the next thing on the list for the politically correct (and factually incorrect) crowd.
