NEW YORK (AP) - Police in Rochester say a 17-year-old boy is dead after he was stabbed during a fight and collapsed on the street.

The Democrat and Chronicle of Rochester reports (http://on.rocne.ws/1lIqxgH ) that Travone Teasley was stabbed during an altercation with another man at about 10 p.m. Friday.

Witnesses say Teasley ran about a block and collapsed, trailing blood.

One witness said a young man taunted the mortally wounded youth before help arrived.

Teasley was taken to Strong Memorial Hospital, where he died.

Neighbors said the teen was known as “Booh Booh.”

They said he was “a good kid” with a talent for rapping.

Police are checking surveillance cameras from nearby convenience stores for possible footage of the stabbing.
