BUFFALO, N.Y. (AP) - Buffalo police are investigating the gunshot deaths of two men on the city’s East side.

Police tell local media outlets that a 30-year-old man was shot dead around 4 a.m. Sunday outside his home on Pershing Avenue. Two women were also wounded by gunfire in the incident. Names weren’t released.

Another man in his 30s was killed around 11 p.m. Friday on St. Joseph Avenue. His name hasn’t been released yet.

The two slayings occurred about two miles apart. Police aren’t saying whether they believe the shootings are related.
