He had back surgery March 31, causing him to miss the Masters for the first time. He also missed the U.S. Open. … The top four finishers not previously eligible for the British Open will earn spots, provided they are among the top 12 and ties. … The Greenbrier Classic is next week in White Sulphur Springs, West Virginia, followed by the John Deere Classic in Silvis, Illinois, and the British Open.
