FARGO, N.D. (AP) - Former North Dakota State University national champion and 2012 London Olympian Amanda Smock has won her third outdoor national title in the triple jump.

Smock accomplished the feat on Thursday at the U.S. Outdoor Championships in Sacramento, California. She also won the outdoor title in 2011 and 2012. Earlier this year, she won her third consecutive indoor title in Albuquerque, New Mexico.

Smock’s last name was Thieschafer when she competed for NDSU and won three NCAA Division II national titles in the early 2000s.
