PITTSBURGH (AP) - An unmanned drone hovering over PNC Park drew the attention of fans and Pittsburgh Pirates officials during Thursday's game against the New York Mets.
The Pittsburgh Post-Gazette (http://bit.ly/1rIjIwT ) reports that Pirates officials requested that police find the operator and ask him to stop. Pirates spokesman Brian Warecki says the team was concerned about fan safety as well as protecting broadcast and content rights.
Warecki says the operator of the drone was a man outside the park who complied with police.
The Federal Aviation Administration says it's investigating.
