PORTLAND, Ore. (AP) - A Clackamas County corrections deputy alleges in a federal lawsuit that he was a target of anti-Semitic comments and Facebook posts after he made a whistleblower complaint.

The Oregonian reports (http://is.gd/asZeym ) the suit was filed by Rich Sneath, who is Jewish.

It doesn’t describe the evidence of wrongdoing he reported in November 2012.

It says that the following month co-workers and supervisors began harassing him with posts containing comments aimed at him such as “looks like Hitler missed one.”

The spokesman for the sheriff’s office, Sgt. Nate Thompson, said the agency does not comment on pending litigation.

The suit alleges unlawful employment practices and seeks $500,000.
