The Montana men’s and women’s basketball teams along with the Montana State women have advanced to the Big Sky Conference tournaments.

The men’s tournament starts Thursday at regular-season champion Weber State. Second-seeded North Dakota takes on seventh seed Sacramento state at 2 p.m., followed by No. 6 Northern Colorado vs. No. 3 Northern Arizona at 4:30 p.m. No. 5 Portland State and No. 4 Montana play at 7 p.m.

Weber State has a bye to Friday’s semifinals.

The women’s tournament starts Thursday at North Dakota, which also has a bye into Friday’s semifinals.

Seventh-seeded Sacramento State opens against second-seeded Southern Utah at 3:30 p.m. Mountain. No. 6 Montana State takes on No. 3 Montana at 6 p.m. and No. 5 Idaho State meets No. 4 Eastern Washington at 8:30 p.m.

The championships in both tournaments are scheduled for Saturday. The men’s title game will be carried on ESPN-U at 6 p.m.
