Grand View of Iowa dominated in winning its third straight NAIA national wrestling title over the weekend, while Great Falls and Montana State-Northern battled for the runner-up trophy.

Grand View tied an NAIA record with 193 points, finishing with a record 108.5 points more than Great Falls which scored 84.5 points and edged Northern by one point.

Northern got individual second-place finishes from Ethan Hinebauch at 165 pounds and Jared Miller at 174.

Northern’s Cameron Neiss beat Kyle Wilson of UGF in the third-place match at 141 pounds.

Ryan Martin of UGF finished fourth at 149 pounds as did teammate Chad Cebulski at 157 pounds.

Great Falls wrestlers Michael Ruiz (133 pounds) and Shawn Lau (165) finished fifth as did Northern’s Garrett DeMers at 197 pounds.
