RAY BROOK, N.Y. (AP) - The state Adirondack Park Agency is considering whether to approve a 3,500-foot-long zip line at a Lake George attraction owned by “Karate Kid” actor Ralph Macchio’s father.

The Adirondack Daily Enterprise reports (http://bit.ly/1cqPTNX ) that park agency staff have recommended approval of Ralph Macchio Sr.’s proposed Bear Pond Ranch Zip-Flyer in Lake George, although the agency has raised concerns about its visibility.

The zip line ride would run from near the summit of French Mountain in the town of Queensbury to Macchio’s Wild West Ranch in the town of Lake George.

The project is on the agenda of the agency’s monthly meeting Thursday.
