LAS VEGAS (AP) - The Wyoming Cowgirls have advanced to the semifinals of the Mountain West basketball tournament for the third consecutive year.

The Cowgirls will meet top-seed Colorado State on Friday at 1 p.m. in Las Vegas.

Wyoming is 20-10 overall after a 61-56 win over Boise State in the quarterfinals on Tuesday.

Kayla Woodward leads the Cowgirls with 16.6 points and 7 rebounds a game, followed by Fallon Lewis with 14.5 points and 9.6 rebounds.

The Rams are 24-6 overall and the tournament’s top seed. They beat Utah State 72-67 in the quarterfinals.
