CORVALLIS, Ore. (AP) - Reece Wible had 15 points and 10 rebounds and La Salle Prep defeated Cottage Grove 61-58 in overtime Thursday in the quarterfinals of the OSAA Class 4A boys tournament.

La Salle (21-3) advances to play Tillamook in Friday’s semifinals at Matthew Knight Arena. The Cheesemakers (19-6) defeated Seaside 61-52.

Philomath will face La Grande in the other semi. Top-seeded Philomath (22-3) edge North Valley 44-43 in Thursday’s early game, before La Grande (19-3) beat Henley 59-56.

Keeston Smith added 12 points for the second-seeded Falcons, who took the lead in overtime and kept it after Matt De’Amore hit a 3-pointer with 2 seconds left to tie it at 51 at the end of regulation.

Garett Boyce had 21 points for seventh-seeded Cottage Grove (19-6).

Seaside (14-13), the 14th seed, led by as many as 13 points in the first half and had a 30-28 lead at the half. But sixth-seeded Tillamook pulled in front for good late in the third quarter when Isaac Stellflug’s jumper made it 38-37 for the Cheesemakers, who led the rest of the way.

Joey Hancock led Tillamook with 17 points, while Aaron Tadei led the Seagulls with 20 points.

Ben DeSaulnier had 20 to lead Philomath over North Valley.

The Warriors held a 44-40 lead with 3:19 left but North Valley’s Kevin Olmstead hit a 3-pointer with 1:05 to pull within one. Olmstead missed a layup with 3 seconds left and the Knights fell short.

Ninth-seeded North Valley (19-8) was the defending champions but lost eight seniors from that 27-0 squad. Cameron Lyon led the Knights with 15 points and five assists.

It was the 13th straight win for Philomath.

Tyson Wicklander led four La Grande players in double figures with 13 points.

Josh Overstreet and Colby Mueller each had 14 for Henley (19-6).
