MINOT, N.D. (AP) - Fargo Shanley outscored Fargo Davies 37-15 in the second half to beat the Eagles 73-37 in a North Dakota Class A girls state basketball semifinal on Friday.

Sarah Jacobson picked up nine of her 19 points in the second the half for the Deacons (22-2). Her 6-for-10 shooting from the field and Somer Bucholz’s 3-for-3 helped the Deacons to 54.5 percent overall shooting. Bucholz finished with 10 points, including 4-for-4 from the free throw line, and Lauren Rotunda added 10 points.

The Eagles (17-7) were led by Kylee Bergantine with nine points and Alexis Klabo and Carly Kottsick added eight points each.
