CORVALLIS, Ore. (AP) - Reece Wible had 18 points and La Salle Prep defeated Tillamook 49-29 in the OSAA Class 4A boys semifinals on Friday night.

The second-seeded Falcons (22-3) advance to face Philomath in the state championship game on Saturday night at Gill Coliseum. The top-seeded Warriors (23-3) defeated La Grande 61-52 in the earlier semifinal.

The La Salle girls also advanced to the state championship game. They’ll play undefeated Sutherlin for the title Saturday before the boys’ game.

Keeston Smith had added 12 points and 11 rebounds for La Salle.

Zane Wright led the sixth-seeded Cheesemakers (19-7) with 12 points.

Ben DeSaulnier had 25 points for Philomath in the earlier semifinals.

Koeby Bennett added 16 points and nine rebounds for the Warriors, who have won 14 straight going into the title game.

Jake Powell led fourth-seeded La Grande (19-4) with 18 points.

Philomath led by as many as 15 points in the third quarter. Powell hit a layup and a free throw with 1:31 left in the game to close the gap to 55-49, but DeSaulnier answered with a layup and it was as close as La Grande could get.
