HOT SPRINGS, Ark. (AP) - Rachel Medina scored 24 points, and Jamie Nance added 18 points and 13 rebounds as Spring Hill capped an undefeated season with a 67-44 win over Mountainburg in the girls Class 2A state championship game.

Saturday’s championship is the first in school history for the Lady Bears (35-0), who never trailed, led 41-23 at halftime and weren’t challenged in the second half.

Medina was 9-of-17 shooting, while Nance finished 8 of 12 from the field. Claire McMaster added 16 points for Spring Hill, which was making its first championship game appearance.

Tara Webb led the Lady Dragons (32-3), who were also making their first title game appearance, with 21 points. Kaylyn Moore added 13 points, and Auburn Peters had 10 points and 11 rebounds.
