LAKE CHARLES, La. (AP) - Malik Crowfield scored 33 points, and Riverside Academy pulled away in the fourth quarter of an 88-75 win over Lakeview in the Class 2A championship game on Saturday.

Riverside (36-3) won its second straight title and fourth in five years.

Herb McGee added 18 and Von Julien scored 17.

Lakeview (28-5) was led by Tay Hardy’s 15. Jerald Bush and Tray Kirkendoll scored 13 each.

Riverside went on a 10-2 run early in the fourth quarter to take a 75-68 lead after Lakeview briefly led 66-65 on a three-point play by Brent Toussaint.

Riverside closed the half with a 9-1 run to take a 35-33 lead into halftime. Crowfield scored 10 of Riverside’s first 12 points and added 12 more in the second quarter, including five during the late run to put the Rebels ahead.
