COLUMBIA, Mo. (AP) - Emma Lander scored 22 points and grabbed 11 rebounds to help Crane defeat Skyline 67-52 for its second-straight Class 2 girls championship.

Crane (31-1) opened the second half Saturday night with an 8-2 run to stretch its lead to 42-31 with 5:49 remaining in the third quarter. The teams largely traded baskets the rest of the way.

Lexie Vaught added 12 points for the Lady Pirates, who finished with 48.9 percent (23 of 47) shooting despite making only one of nine 3-point attempts.

Alexa Beck led Skyline (26-6) with 11 points while Ashley Bishop added 10 as the Lady Tigers finished 16 of 49 (32.7 percent) from the field and were outrebounded 37-25.

The schools also met last year in the semifinals, with Crane taking that game 70-51.
