CONCORD, N.H. (AP) - The average price of a gallon of gas rose by nearly a penny in the past week in New Hampshire, to $3.50 per gallon.

That’s according to the gasoline price website GasBuddy.com, which surveyed 875 gas stations in the state.

The price as of Sunday is 14.8 cents cheaper than the same day a year ago but 12.7 cents more than last month.

Nationally, the average also increased by 2.6 cents per gallon in the last week to $3.50. The national average is 15.1 cents cheaper than the same day last year, but 15.5 cents more than a month ago.

GasBuddy operates NewHampshireGasPrices.com and more than 250 other websites that track prices at more than 140,000 gas stations in the United States and Canada.
