CATOOSA, Okla. (AP) - A construction worker was killed when a loaded dump truck backed over and killed her in Rogers County.
The Oklahoma Highway Patrol says collision occurred Friday morning in a work zone on Interstate 44 near Catoosa.
The patrol says a worker was backing up the loaded dump truck when he backed over 48-year-old Eri Hernandez, of Edmond.
Police say Hernandez had been working in the construction zone with her head down when she was hit. Hernandez died on the scene due to massive injuries. No charges are expected.
Construction at the site is on hold until Monday.
