ABERDEEN, S.D. (AP) - James Valley Christian beat Potter County 72-55 Friday to earn a berth in its first title game at the South Dakota Class B boys basketball tournament.

Nathan Wedel led the way for the Vikings (24-1) by scoring 24 points and grabbing 17 rebounds. He was 7-for-18 from the field and 9-for-11 from the free throw line.

Alex Waldner and Andrew Ulvestad added 17 points each. Ulvestad also had eight rebounds and six assists.

James Valley Christian shot 55 percent from the field.

Caleb Meinke led Potter County (22-3) with four 3-pointers and 19 points. Chayce Hall had 10 points and four assists.
