SIOUX FALLS, S.D. (AP) - Sioux Valley pulled away from a tie after three quarters to beat Pine Ridge 60-54 in a consolation game Friday at the South Dakota Class B boys basketball tournament.

The game was tied 40-40 until the Cossacks (20-4) pulled ahead in the fourth and stayed there.

Tayt Vincent had 17 points. That included a 9-for-10 effort from the free throw line. Sioux Valley outscored Pine Ridge 22-5 from the line.

Collin Kramer had 16 points and Spencer Hanson added 11.

Jacob Brown had 14 points and Terry Thomas scored 11 for the Thorpes (20-4).
