COLUMBUS, Ohio (AP) - Lakewood St. Edward’s Kipper Nichols, who scored 26 points and hit two late clinching free throws in overtime in the title game, is the most outstanding player on the Associated Press Division I boys all-tournament team.

Nichols, who had 51 points in the two victories, was joined on the team by fellow Eagle Marsalis Hamilton, who hit the tying 3-pointer that sent the game into the extra time.

Also on the squad were: Upper Arlington’s Danny Hummer (25 points, 12 assists in two games) and Kevin Vannatta (40 points in two games); Cleveland East Tech’s Johnell Free (15 points in a semifinal loss); and Trotwood-Madison’s Dezhonetae Bennett (23 points in a semifinal loss).
