SIOUX FALLS, S.D. (AP) - Tea Area took an 11-point halftime lead and made it stand up for a 45-35 win over St. Thomas More Saturday in the third-place game at the South Dakota Class A boys basketball tournament.

The Titans (17-9) shot 47 percent from the field and made 14 of 18 free throws. St. Thomas More struggled all game and finished at 24 percent. The Cavaliers (17-8) made just 2 of 16 3-pointers.

Gunnar Ensz and Tarin Smallfield had 11 points each and Cooper Hansen added 10 for Tea Area.

Jacob Henderson had 11 and Jeron Laurenti and Isaac Kortemeyer scored 10 each for St. Thomas More.
