MORGANTOWN, W.Va. (AP) - West Virginia University has named Robert L. Taylor Jr. as director of the Division of Animal and Nutritional Sciences.

Taylor currently serves as a professor of animal science at the University of New Hampshire. He also is president of the U.S. branch of the World Poultry Association.

He will replace Matt Wilson. The university says in a news release that Wilson will continue to serve a professor of animal science and physiology.

The division is within WVU’s Davis College of Agriculture, Natural Resources and Design.
