SACRAMENTO, Calif. (AP) - Daniel Hamilton had 22 points and 13 rebounds in St. John Bosco’s 63-54 win against Folsom in the California Division II boys’ championship at Sleep Train Arena.

Tyler Dorsey scored 24 points for the St. John Bosco Braves of Bellflower (23-4).

Jordan Ford led the Folsom Bulldogs of Folsom (32-3) with 20 points.

Folsom led 28-24 at the half, but then St. John Bosco went on a 12-3 run to lead 38-13 with less than a minute left in third. Josiah Deguara’s trey at the buzzer left Folsom trailing by three points going into the fourth quarter.

The Bulldogs were down by 10 points before cutting the lead 56-54 with 1:03 left in the final period. The Braves made seven free throws in the final 51 seconds to seal the victory.
