KC buses to offer free Wi-Fi

KANSAS CITY, Mo. (AP) - The Kansas City Area Transportation Authority says it's going to offer free Wi-Fi service on several of its buses.

The Kansas City Star reports ( ) that all of the city's MAX buses and 22 other metro area buses will offer the service beginning this week. Buses with Wi-Fi will have signs on board.

KC ATA spokeswoman Cindy Baker says the service is through T-Mobile and will allow riders to stay connected while they're riding the Metro.
