SAN PEDRO SULA, Honduras (AP) - Jerry Bengston and Jerry Palacious scored either side of halftime to lead Honduras to a 2-1 win over Venezuela in an international friendly Wednesday.

Bengston opened the scoring in the 7th minute at Olimpico stadium after the striker gathered a Boniek Garcia pass in the area.

Romulo Otero equalized for Venezuela from a free kick in the 21st minute before Palacious found the winner for Honduras five minutes into the second half.

Honduras beat the United States and drew with Mexico in World Cup qualifying and will face France, Switzerland and Ecuador in Group E at Brazil.
