KIRKWOOD, Mo. (AP) - A St. Louis County man is accused of choking an H&R; Block worker after apparently becoming enraged about his tax situation.

Police in Kirkwood say 53-year-old Michael Earl Wright knocked the tax preparation company employee to the ground in an attack on Monday in Kirkwood. Wright is charged with misdemeanor assault and does not have a listed attorney.

Police say the victim had minor injuries but did not require hospital treatment.
