GRAND FORKS, N.D. (AP) - Tanner Bernhardt and Brad Heidlebaugh had 16 points apiece to lead top-ranked Rugby back to the championship game of the North Dakota Class B boys basketball tournament with a 54-44 semifinal win over North Star on Friday.

The unbeaten and top-seeded Panthers (27-0) will meet Fargo Oak Grove in hopes of winning their first state basketball title since a Class A crown in 1962. It last won Class B titles in 1940 and 1941.

Bernhardt, who struggled from the field in the first round, had four 3-pointers. Heidlebaugh grabbed 14 rebounds and Zach Miller had 10 points and 10 rebounds.

Alex Weston scored 20 points and Christian Kvilvang added 11 for North Star (18-8), which had its eight-game winning streak snapped.
