NEWARK, N.J. (AP) - Federal prosecutors say a former New Jersey Transit supervisor has admitted she agreed to accept an $8,000 bribe and power washing services in connection with a snow removal contract.

Donna Schiereck pleaded guilty Tuesday and now faces up to 10 years in prison when she’s sentenced Sept. 9.

The 56-year-old Jackson resident agreed to accept the money in return for helping a Lakewood company maintain a snow removal contract. The scheme took place over a three-month period in late 2012.
