ATLANTA (AP) - Research findings on a lack of mental health care workers throughout Georgia are expected to be discussed during a forum in Atlanta later this week.

Officials at the Carter Center say the 19th annual Rosalynn Carter Georgia Mental Health Forum on Friday will also explore the needs of children diagnosed with attention deficit hyperactivity disorder and other issues.

Organizers say service providers, policymakers, advocates and the general public are invited to the forum and are encouraged to participate in discussions. The event is free, but registration is required.
