CHICAGO (AP) - The Chicago Blackhawks have announced a three-year extension for television rights with WGN-TV.

The team made the announcement on Thursday. The current agreement is set to expire in two years. The extension keeps Blackhawks hockey on WGN-TV through the 2018-2019 season. The station will broadcast 20 regular-season games each year.

Chicago Blackhawks games also appear nationally on NBC stations and locally on Comcast SportsNet Chicago.
