CONCORD, N.H. (AP) - Expanding broadband Internet access, adoption and use throughout New Hampshire will be the focus of a daylong conference in Concord.

The University of New Hampshire’s Broadband Mapping and Planning Program and its partners are hosting Friday’s conference, which will feature U.S. Sen. Kelly Ayotte as the opening speaker.

Topics will include current broadband initiatives and broadband’s importance in government services, economic development, telemedicine and other areas.
