If Matt Drudge was going for mystery, he hit it.

The world-known Web news headliner has cleaned his Twitter account of all tweets and posts — except for a single, solitary message that strikes a somewhat ominous tone.

"In this manic Digital Age ... It's vital ... To clear your mind ... Constantly," he tweeted.

But that's the only message that remains on his account. And he subsequently changed his profile background picture of a parrot pecking at another parrot.

Drudge has 267,000 or so followers — but follows nobody.

Mr. Drudge's Twitter account is separate from his Drudge Report handle, which follows 19,600, and has tweeted out 64,200 or so news alerts and messages.
