Despite Johnson not scoring for club or country since November, when he found net in his final game for Seattle, the player still feels positive about his overall contributions. His hold-up play has been lauded in the United locker room, after all, and he did record his first assist of 2014 in a 4-1 win over FC Dallas two weeks ago.

“The more I can keep putting myself in positions to score goals, and not just focus on scoring goals but focus on being good for the team, then the goals will come,” Johnson said. “So I’m not worried about it.”
